Ross achieved a national diploma in health and safety, certified by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH).

Congratulations to Ross Kirkland who achieved a national diploma in health and safety, certified by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), from City of Glasgow College.

The FM assistant area operations manager undertook the self-funded course in September and studied one night each week for the next 35 weeks in order to obtain the qualification.

Ross explained: “I completed the IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) course through Cordia and really enjoyed it. I wanted to continue to study this area and with the encouragement of my manager at the time I began the NEBOSH course.

“It was hard work but it was great to complete the course. Receiving my results and finding out I had passed was a great feeling.”

The NEBOSH certificate is an advanced qualification which includes the legal and practical sides of health and safety, including management regulations, health and safety law, construction sites and commercial premises.

Well done Ross!
