Transport coordinator Tom Kilian will hit the road on 18 December when he retires after 23 years at Cordia. Tom began his public service career in 1992 when he started as a heavy vehicle driver trainer before driving forward to his current role.
Tom said: “I’ve loved every minute of my 23 year career here, but I’m excited to be racing forward to see the chequered flag on the 18th.
“I would like to thank everyone for making my time here a hugely enjoyable experience. I have met lots of great people here.”
Phil McQuillan, transport manager, said: “Tom will be missed, he has worked tyre-lessly to support his fellow colleagues having never taking a pit stop (day off) ever. We wish him well in the next stage of his life.”
Carole Fletcher will take pole position from Tom as transport manager when Tom vacates the podium. Carole joins the team from TaSS and is looking forward to taking the wheel.
“Tom’s boots will be difficult to fill but I will be his co-pilot until he retires as he shows me the ropes,” explained Carole.
Good luck Tom!
