Three generations for Cordia
Cordia has often been referred to as feeling like a family and this is literally the case for these ladies, making up three generations with almost 60 years of combined service.
Kathleen, from Barmulloch has been a part of Encore Hospitality Services for 31 years and has just recently retired. She has worked in the café at St Mungo’s Museum for almost 14 years, after starting her career in North Glasgow College when she was 31 years old.
Her daughter, Louise Campbell, from Germiston is based at Cordia’s HQ in Blair Court while Kathleen’s granddaughter, Rebecca, 16 (Louise’s daughter) is a catering assistant in St Mungo’s, occasionally working alongside one another.
Managing director David Melvin said: “It’s fantastic to be at the helm of an organisation which attracts so many different generations of the same family.
“We have always aspired to make Cordia an enjoyable place to work and examples such as this one reaffirm what we have achieved.
“I’d like to thank Kathleen, Louise and Rebecca for their service, together contributing almost 60 years to the company.”
