With over 1000 nominations from clients, service users and colleagues, the annual Cordia staff awards were an outstanding success. Indeed the 2010 awards have seen a rise of over 300% in nominations. After a rigorous period of judging, over 25 team members were presented with awards at Glasgow City Chambers on the evening of 25 March 2010. Categories included excellence in service, the ability to embrace change as well as a number of categories recognising the way staff interact both with their customers and colleagues as they carry out their day-to-day jobs. Fergus Chambers, Managing Director of Cordia said "These awards are the highlight of the Cordia year. It is humbling to see such dedication and support. We are very lucky to have such a loyal and committed workforce." Amos Parker, janitor at Scotstoun primary school won the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award along with a staff award for excellent customer service.
