Congratulations to Cordia’s Community Alarm and Telecare Services who have been accredited by industry regulatory body the Telecare Services Association (TSA) for 2012.
By retaining this esteemed accreditation for a second year it confirms that all areas of service - referral, call monitoring and response – is being carried out to the highest standard. This provides reassurance to not only our clients but to their families as well.
The Community Alarm and Telecare Service centre operate a telecare alarm service which is installed in the homes of those vulnerable Glasgow citizens in our care. In times of difficulty they can easily, by the press of a button, connect to our highly skilled operators who can offer assistance or send out Cordia care staff or emergency services based on the nature of the difficulty.
To meet the strict criteria set out by TSA reinforces the success of the team and their high standing in the telecare industry.
Response Centre manager Chris Barton said: "At present we are undergoing an upgrade in control centre call handling system. This investment in new technology will allow us to provide more services to our clients.
"TSA accreditation has improved the way we provide telecare services in Glasgow, this is reflected in the comments I receive from clients, thanking Cordia for being there in their time on need."
