Cordia (Services) LLP has recently completed an extensive consultation exercise with all
6,500 Home Care service users and 2,000 front line home care staff.
This exercise is the latest home care consultation that has been undertaken since
2009/10. Prior to this wide-ranging consultation exercises had been undertaken in each of
the past seven years. These exercises included consultation with directly involved
stakeholders including; service users, former service users, carers, employees, Social
Work Services’ staff, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde hospital and community staff and
The aims and objectives of this consultation exercise were to continue to examine the quality of home care services provided by Cordia (Services) LLP, to allow service users and front line home care staff the opportunity to participate in assessing and improving the quality of care and support provided and, for the first time, to analyse responses per Social Work Area to compare views and perceptions in local areas.
