Lynn is responsible for all aspects of developing Cordia’s staff including selection and recruitment, induction, career development and staff support.

Delivered by a team of dedicated and professional staff, Lynn provides human resource and payroll services to 8,500 staff.  They also provide office services support to the organisation.

Recently, Lynn has taken responsibility for the Learning and Development Centre (LDC) where Cordia's professional training staff deliver a range of training programmes designed to develop our people.  The LDC also provides legislative training and the organisation’s health and food safety function.

Lynn believes in the importance of developing our people. She is committed to the development of an integrated programme that gives opportunity to all staff across a number of areas. These include the development of new managerial talent as well as teambuilding, and the development of craft and technical skills among team members.

Lynn has worked in the local authority environment since 1980. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel. Lynn is also a board member of the charity “Springboard Scotland” which aims to bring young people into the catering, event and hospitality industry.  Lynn has also been asked to join the Glasgow Tourism Service Initiative to look at skills shortages facing Glasgow’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
