Children and Families

The Children and Families project is delivered by Cordia on behalf of Social Work Services

The project supports families, identified by Social Work Services, that require extra support with their daily lives to give children in the city a good standard of care.

There are 154 families who currently receive this service. The service provides household support, monitoring of calls, assistance with children's routines and encouraging participation in local activities.

The project has 28 support workers, who are on call Monday to Friday until 8pm. There is also an increasing number of clients who receive service over the weekend.
