Encore provides event catering and public and staff catering across the West of Scotland. This includes providing catering to all Glasgow museums including event services to those hiring museums for corporate banqueting events. We also provided public catering for 2.8 million visitors annually. Encore also has a number of important private contracts including all catering and hospitality services for Glasgow Caledonian University.
Encore Hospitality Services has a turnover of £10m per annum, of which £4.5 million is derived from the hospitality and visitor attraction sector. The division employs over 500 staff.
Celebration catering is also available and we can provide a one-stop shop for catering and venue hire for all types of celebrations including weddings, birthdays, graduations and retirement parties. We have a dedicated team who specialise in tailored weddings. Our offering includes a full range of buffets and a la carte menus to suit all pockets and exceptional venues for the ceremony and the reception. As part of the wedding package, we can also offer the following:
* a member of the clergy to conduct your marriage service
* a red carpet welcome
* use of a cake stand and knife
* a top table floral arrangement
* table posies to complement your colour scheme
* the services of a toastmaster
* use of changing room for bride and groom
* professional planning advice from our wedding co-ordinator
* licence extensions till 1 a.m.
Weddings can be held at a number of venues across Glasgow including the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens, St Mungo’s Museum of Religious Life and Art, the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, the Burrell Collection and the Winter Gardens at Tollcross Park.
