Tuck shop gives kids eggselent Easter

Equipu staff help children in care enjoy Easter.
Our Equipu store in Baillieston does not have the benefit of vending or dedicated catering facilities, so the entrepreneurial front office team started up a small tuck shop. All profits from which are donated periodically to local charities.
In the run up to Easter staff decided to use the money to provide an Easter egg to all children currently in residential care within Glasgow.
Phil McQuillan, transport and technical services manager, said: “The tuck shop initiative has worked really well. The fact that funds are being raised to provide support for a range of good causes ensures it is well supported and used by all staff members. Well done to all involved.”
Since the tuck shop was created, staff have donated to Yorkhill Children’s Hospital, Ups and Downs, Amelia May Neuroblastoma Foundation and St Andrew’s Hospice.
