On Wednesday 13 June 2016, staff from across Cordia took to the field for our annual charity football match held this year at Shettleston Juniors FC. The event raised a total of £1,000 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
Football’s most sought after trophy this summer, the Cordia Cup, was contested between “Bear Essentials” (made up of office based staff, Encore and facilities management staff) and “Kami’s Kubs” (EquipU based staff). Bear Essentials took bragging rights with a 2-0 victory to lift the trophy.
Those attending to cheer on the players enjoyed other activities such as face painting, beat the goalie and there was a raffle at the end of the evening.

Andy Clark, managing director of Cordia, said: “Congratulations to everyone who took part in what was a very successful evening.
“The money raised will help an extremely worthwhile cause and is another example of the team at Cordia going above and beyond to support people in Glasgow.”
“Glasgow Children’s Hospital is a fantastic charity which does a lot of work to ensure every child receives exceptional care”
