careSafe app shortlisted for connect awards

careSafe app shortlisted at Holyrood's connect ICT awards
Cordia’s careSafe app, used in home care, was named as a finalist at Holyrood’s connect ICT awards 2017.
The awards evening was held at the Waldorf Astoria, Edinburgh on June 21 and recognised and celebrated excellence in Scotland’s public sector ICT.
Unfortunately we were beaten to the prize by our colleagues at the Scottish Fire and Rescue service.
The careSafe app has proved to be a great success in home care, leading to better use of available resources, reducing the number of missed visits and increasing the safety of our 2,400 staff members who have an iPhone and are using the app.
Andy Clark, director of services said: “I would like to congratulate the Scottish Fire and Rescue service on winning the award.
It was a fantastic achievement for us to be in the final shortlist but it wasn’t meant to be this time.
We have a fantastic app which is really making a difference.”
